This week was the big kick off for the entire team. We met with Sister Francis and studied the way of shuffling through the internet. It was quite interesting. Our project is very unique because there are so many companies that are experimenting with many different variables, but none yet have been able to put all of them together into just one system to experiment them all. Our job is to build that kind of facility. I think that it will be very difficult for the first start of it all. For example, we are just now on the phone with many different companies just finding out certain questions:
- How are you funded and how do you manage your circumstances?
- What have been some good things and bad things for you in the past?
- What is the best way of testing these things?
- What kind of services do you offer?
These have been our first round of questions. We will probably take this one more week and see what happens with them all. Then next we will put them together and see what results we have come up with.
I have been on the phone and online non-stop trying to dwindle down to certain facilities throughout the U.S. to be able to ask these questions and see what they are doing. It is tough because we are dealing with things that are not just the everyday world.
