Our focus was changed a little bit this week with the new information during our second consultation. We found out that our client was a little too vague during the time that we met with him. So when we got to our next consultation he had a different story of what we were supposed to do. This is kind of putting a bind on our research and we are needing to more research. I realized that we have a lot of information so we just need to filter through it and we can get the information we need. I guess that is the good thing why we have so much time to research these things.
So as of right now we are trying to get things together so that we can be focused on what needs to happen. I realized that our intern is a little bit unorganized and needs to focus on what really needs to happen. There really isn't that much more to say because of what happened with our second consultation.

Personal Project Update
This week was pretty amazing I think. I was visited by one of my uncles and I sat down with him to find out more about his business. I would love to work with him and his partners. When I was sitting with him I asked a little bit about my situation and what was the best path for me to go down to find out about the industry. Also I asked him about doing an internship with him. He was willing to give me an opportunity to maybe work for him. That is going to be a lot of fun. I also presented him with the idea of maybe looking into BYU-Idaho students for internships down the road. So I have some more meetings with him about that.
I realized this week that I need to spend more time with more mentors in the university and less with my little things. I have found out that the teachers here are ready to teach us things and show us things that do not come in a textbook. I need to spend more time going behind teachers. I love the influence that they have on the work force. Also I decided to continue on this job interview that a company out of Idaho Falls is trying to open up for students around here. It is a small investment firm that they have and are trying to expand by hiring other people, maybe interns. Right now that is my main focus because it will help me move forward into the work force. If I am going to be a financial adviser then I need to understand investments a lot more than I do now.

Gathering Info
This week my team and I were gathering the last bit of our info before the second consultation. I have been in contact with a lot of universities about my project because the INL might be using their facility to help out he college for their studies. There have been a couple of things that I have made progress with. Here are the following:
- Found out that there is a pretty easy way to obtain funding from the government if they can see that either you will provide jobs for people or are eliminating threats (e.g. fossil fuels, expensive electricity, etc...) but the government will help out where they can.
- Next we are putting together the info in a word doc so we can present the info to the client at the end of the week.
- The last thing that I have done is calculated prices for the different materials for bio-fuels part the project. This will help the INL have an idea of how to project the costs for the many different energy systems they will do.
Gospel Principals 5/31-6/5
This week was pretty interesting. As you know that I changed my idea and personal project to financial planning. This week I was asked to write up a book report about a book, The Richest Man in Babylon. During my report, I sought the spirit while doing so. I realized something that I was overlooking. I thought about just going into this new project with the idea that I will be helping people with their finances. So I thought about just finding out the industry, and then applying the info into my life to make me more appealing. Well that is not the way for me to do so. I found out I need to obtain the principles taught in the gospel, before I can go out into the work force.
Of course I do know that in the world I will not be talking about gospel principles, but I understand that I must first seek for the guidance and then everything will fall into place after that. The first thing that I was looking for is what the Lord's prophets of old (Book of Mormon) taught about finances. The reason why I did so is because The Book of Mormon is a great example of parables that would work in this day and age. I sought through the spirit the best way of managing my finances and such. This is going to be best suitable for me because then with the experience, I can teach someone off the street the most basic. I found that it is very important to take care of yourself before you pay your bills and such.
I realize that the main reason why we could be appealing is if we did exactly what was asked of us. This is what I learned during this project this week. So what I have decided and what I am working on right now are financial plans, (e.g. 401k, Roth IRA, Trusts, Bonds, etc...) This has helped me out a lot.
